The series of events kick off on December 9th from 6 to 8 p.m. Enjoy kir royales, an informal gift wrapping workshop, holiday bites, kid-friendly cider, and 15 percent off selected goodies. The remaining Wednesday events in December take place from 4 to 6 p.m.

In case you didn’t catch our email about the happy hours – now you know!

What’s more, pH is now on the Houston tourist trail, as evidenced by San Francisco-based blogger suburbanpenpal’s recent post.

Catch us in the Chron?

Fresh off the press: Houston Chronicle featured pH’s Field Notes on the front cover of the “Star” section!

Writes Allison Bagley, “The style setters at paper emporium PH Design Shop tell us these vintage-style Field Notes are a huge hit with guys.”

Inspired by the vanishing subgenre of agricultural memo books, ornate pocket ledgers and the simple, unassuming beauty of a well-crafted grocery list, the Draplin Design Company, Portland, Oregon in conjunction with Coudal Partners of Chicago, Illinois designed “Field Notes” in hopes of offering, “An honest memo book, worth fillin’ up with good information.”

Pictured are the new “Just Below Zero” notes, featuring French Paper Company’s Dur-O-Tone Steel Grey, Pop-Tone Sno-Cone, and Construction Steel Blue. Each book contains 48 pages of graph paper printed in “Frostbite” bluish-grey ink. These winter-time booklets are perfect for writing down lists like:

- “the” chili recipe
- reasons not to move to the Upper Midwest
- topics not to address at holiday parties

Pick up a pack for the man (or men) in your life!
